Plant Fossil - Calamite?
The stems of a plant , belonging to a group (Equisetales) - the horsetails.
Various Plant Fossils , including "stigmaria" can be seen on this inclined slab of Rock ,
near Wisemans Bridge , in spite of a flaking / fractured surface on the slab.
Similar Plant Fossils , can be seen in The "Coal Measure" Rocks between
Little Haven and Newgale.
