
The infilled burrows of a marine arthropod , possibly "Glyphea" whose fossilised
remains have been found with these burrows - a creature (decapod) which has the
present day animals - lobsters , shrimps and prawns in the same family.
Thalassinoides burrows were just below the sediment surface and parallel to it ,
with short vertical shafts .
Location :- Church Doors Beach (Skrinkle Haven), lots of examples can be found
on the vertical rock strata at the back of the Bay , to the East of the Metal Staircase.
