Disharmonic Folding in the rock strata at the back of Traeth Y Rhedyn ,
from Pen Yr Afr / Cyfrwy to Pwllgranant.
The folds and faults were formed during the
Caledonian mountain building period (Orogeny) , about 400 million years ago.
