A group of houses (east of Pontfaen) near the Village School ( Gwaun Valley School) ,
with Conifers on the slopes behind.
The children keep up the tradition of singing door to door for "calennig" , gifts of money ,
sweets or fruits to celebrate "Hen Galan" - New Years Day by the ancient Julian Calendar.
