A view over Foxhole Slade to the Cliffs containing the Pavilland Cave .
On a low tide an extensive wave cut platform appears below Paviland Cave.
The safest route to this location is down the rocky inlet - Foxhole Slad , a narrow craggy valley.
The bottom of the gully and the route to the cave, is over rough heavily eroded limestone .
A low tide is needed , as the gully has to be crossed.
It is possible to reach Foxhole Slad from a Foot Path off the B4247 at Pilton Green ,
where a few cars can be parked .
