16 small stones in an more of an oval than a circle , they rise slightly in height towards the
south . Located in a atmospheric setting , on moorland , in view of the Preseli Mountains.
Gors Fawr - translates as "Great Marsh"
Eight of the stones are of spotted dolerite (bluestone-type).
The monument probably looks much the same today as it did to its late Neolithic or
Bronze Age builders in the late 3rd - 2nd millenium BC.
A remarkable survivor and one of the best of its kind to be seen in Wales.
