Morfa Bychan - Chambered Cairns

This is one of the four Neolithic Burial Chambers ( 6000BC ), with Cairns , above Morfa Bychan Bay
This is the most southernly , with 7 uprights and a fallen Capstone .
They are on the SE side of a steep ridge above Ragwen Point and lie on a N-S line ,
just to the east of the Coast Path.
The 2nd chamber , with 7 uprights and a fallen Capstone is at SN 2213.0748 .
A Cairn without a chamber is at SN 2215.0749.
The 3rd chamber at SN 2215.0755 is near a prominent natural outcrop -
The Druids Altar / difficult to see amongst the Bracken.
The 4th chamber is difficult to see amongst the Bracken , under a large slab -
partly underground at SN 2215.0762.
