"Samson's Jack" Standing Stone also known as "Sampson's Jack" or Mansel Jack .
A Bronze Age Standing Stone of Local Conglomerate Quartz , 3.2m high x 1.5m x 0.8m
in width , rising to a blunt point , incorporated into a field bank.
The Conglomerate (fossilised gravels) comprises mainly Quartz pebbles
with some Red Jasper.
This is the largest of the 8 standing stones , on the Gower Peninsula
, all below the western end of "Cefyn Bryn".

Location - on private land ( the field in which the stone can be found is a horse paddock) ,
ask permission at the farmhouse.
A footpath passes Windmill Farm and the standing stone can be seen ,
partly obscured by a boundary hedge from the FP.
Weobley Castle is nearby .
