Carreg yr Imbill - Gimlet Rock
Gimlet Rock is a Granite outcrop at the eastern edge of South Beach.
(A Dolerite Sill in the Ordovician sediments).
Carreg yr Imbill was extensively quarried , in C19 ,
for stone paving setts by the Liverpool and Pwllheli Granite Company.
