1 - Porthmadog to Abersoch
Abersoch
The path continues around the edge of Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd ,
an area of about 175 acres covered in gorse and heather.
This photo looks south past one of the old C19 granite quarries to Abersoch.
Stone from the Llanbedrog Quarries has been used for structural and engineering use,
in particular the building of Docks.
