On the beach at 'The Warren' Abersoch
On a low tide Peat Beds and tree stumps / branches from Prehistoric Submerged Forests appear.
The trees flourished between 5,000 and 4,500 years ago ?
The tree stumps are rooted in peat levels and have been preserved in the acid anaerobic conditions.
