Porth Nefyn Beach
Looking along Porth Nefyn Beach to Yr Eifl ( 564m) in the distance
The Quarried Gwylwyr (237m) on the right of the photo.
Yr Eifl formed from molten magma bodies which rose up beneath and within Ordovician Volcanoes.
They have only been exposed by subsequent periods of uplift and erosion.
