The Coast Path drops down Harlech Cliff and crosses the Railway Line to Harlech Beach.
Climb up to the top of the Dunes to see fine views of Harlech Castle.
Probably the most spectacular setting for any of Edward I’s Castles in North Wales.
It was built by Edward I during his invasion of Wales between 1282 and 1289 .
In the C13 the sea came close to the Castle's Cliffs , allowing resupply by sea in times of seige.
