Bryn Cader Faner Cairn Circle - 1
A small but impressive Bronze Age Cairn situated near the summit of Bryn Cader Faner on the
northern edge of The Rhinogs Mountains .Fine views into Snowdonia.
In the centre are the remains of a Cist disturbed by 19th century treasure-seekers.
Around the outside of the cairn are 15 slender stone slabs , 3 to 4 ft high,
leaning outwards,like a 'Crown of Thorns'.
