Cors-y-Gedol - Chambered Long Cairn
Cors y Gedol lies on the slopes of Moelfre .
The monument is an early Neolithic (around 4,000BC ) Long Cairn with a burial chamber.
The chamber is covered by a capstone resting on a single upright at its north eastern end.
Aerial photographs show an extensive Neolithic field system in this area.
