South Sands Sandbanks
View over South Sands Sandbanks and Caernarfon Bar to the lighthouse on Llanddwyn Island.
The Coast Path follows the Road past Caernarfon Airport. Walk along the beach / sand dunes to visit Fort Belan .

The Sandbanks are on the notorious Caernarfon bar, at the SW end of the Menai Straits.
A shipping channel through these waters can be used 3hrs either side of high tide
