At the end of Mynydd Penarfynydd a steep animal track leads down to the sea.
An area with large gabbro Boulders , similar to Porth Ysgo , that is popular for Bouldering
The rock outcrops here are of a coarse grained Igneous Rock - hornblende-gabbro
with a distinctive nobbly appearance (Inset Photo).
Mynydd Rhiw, Mynydd y Graig and Mynydd Penarfynydd form a 3-mile (4.8 km)
long series of hog-back ridges of Igneous rock.
