Llanddwyn Lighthouse -Twr Mawr
A view over porth twr mawr to Llanddwyn Lighthouse
Red paint from the Half Light Movie (2006) is showing through in places on the Lighthouse.
The Lighthouse tower ,1845, is tapered in a style typical of Anglesey Windmills.
Twr Mawr (big tower) was originally built as an unlit marker for ships entering the Menai Straits.
The Light was deactivated in 1975.
