A view of the Galleries of the Penrhyn Glas Granite Quarry known locally as Carreg-y-llam Quarry.
Carreg-y-llam means "rock of the leap". Gwrtheyrn is said to have leapt to his death
from this spot with his sword in his hand rather than yield to his enemies.
Granite sets and aggregates were shipped out from the now demolished Piers.
Road transport was used during the final years of the Quarry.
