Watkin Path
The path passes ruined Quarry buildings.
Sir Edward Watkin , a rich railway owner , improved the existing path to the Quarry
and exended it to reach Snowdons Summit (opened 1892 )
Copper mines such as Braich-yr-Oen and Bwlch-y-Llan operated nearby .
