
The site’s most striking feature is the 1850's waterwheel made by Dingey and Sons of Truro.
The 11 diameter wheel was powered by water from a leat .
The site is on a plateau above Cwm Pennant on the shoulders of Garnedd Goch (700m)
The site was restored by the Welsh Development Agency and Snowdonia National Park.

Location - A long, narrow,windy road to Cwm Pennant (off the A487 West of Porthmadog)
Park near a Gate across the road , a well signed path climbs steeply up the side of the valley.
