Cae Coch Standing Stone
A Bronze Age Standing stone 2.2m high, set in a mound or platform about 0.7m high
The stone is known locally as Cae Coch, after the adjacent farm (in the photo).
Cae Coch is also known as Esgid-y-Cawr - the ‘Giant’s shoe’
Location - along the track - west from Maen-y-Bardd
