Bwlch-y-Ddeufaen Standing Stones
Bwlch-y-Ddeufaen Standing Stones

At the western end of the remote Bwlch y Ddeufaen pass between the hills of Foel Lwyd to the north
and Drosgl to the south are two large standing stones.
A Roman road ran through the pass on its way to and from the fort of Canovium on the banks of the Conwy.

On the left - a chunky rectangular stone 2.0m x 1.2m x 0.5m. SH 7145 7182
On the right - an attractive sugarloaf shaped stone 3.5m x 1.5m x 1.2m. SH 7151 717

Location - The path through the pass / west of the mountain Car Park at SH 7206 7153 and Cerrig Pryfaid.
