Henblas Cromlech

Three colossal boulders , the largest being 4 x 3.5 x 4.5m high.
This is a cluster of natural Glacial erratics rather than an outsize megalithic monument.
The stones may have acted as a natural cromlech,
attracting burials from the Bronze Age to the Roman Period.

Directions : - Take a minor road, off the B4422 , North of Bethel which goes through Capel Mawr ,
Park on sharp bend - Paradwys - on the OS map.
FP to the North , through a kissing gate and over two ladder stiles ,
passes the site , on high ground , with fine views of the Snowdonia mountains.
