Porth Dafach - 1
A view over a fine sheltered gently sloping beach to the Sea.
From the mid-17th to early-19th century Porth Dafarch was used as an alternative to the
main port of Holyhead when it was affected by adverse weather conditions in the Irish Sea.
A communication cable to Ireland (2012) makes landfall at Porth Dafarch.
