A view from a Standing Stone amongst an area of Shingle across the western side
of the wide Red Wharf Bay / Traeth Coch (Red Beach) to the village of Red Wharf Bay .
One of the largest bays in Anglesey some 2.5miles (4km) wide.
A battle between the Welsh and Viking invaders in 1170,
leaving the beach soaked in blood , may have given the Bay it's name.
