After walking along the A497 the path heads for the coast following the Afonwen river.
Passing under the Cambrian Railway Bridge.
To the East a railway station - the Afonwen junction station used to exist , now demolished , it was where
the Carnarvonshire Railway (LNWR 1862 then LMS) line from Bangor ,closed in 1964, connected to the Cambrian Railway (GWR)

Head to the Beach to see the Sand Martins burrows in this low crumbling cliff (Mid March-October).
