A view from a gap in the trees lining the Coast Path as it follows the shoreline.
The Weir walls, visible on low tide, face different directions so that fish
could be caught whichever way the tide was flowing.
The Weir walls had apertures through which water flowed. Plaited wattles
were then inserted into the holes to trap fish.
