Lucombe Oak
The Lucombe Oak (Quercus x hispanica ‘Lucombeana')
at Treborth Botanic Gardens can be seen from the Wales Coast Path.
A hybrid of the Turkey Oak and Cork Oak , a semi-evergreen oak tree , developed by William Lucombe.
Planted around 1850 as part of Joseph Paxtons landscape design for “Britannia Park”.
