Two megalithic chambers( cromlech / dolmen ) from a Neolithic barrow or cairn.
One has a large capstone measuring 11' 6" by 9' 6" by 3' 6" thick supported by 5 uprights.
The smaller capstone is supported by three round-shaped boulders.
The monument is about 150m south east of the National Trust Visitor Centre
with the gothic Stable Block (1797) as a backdrop.
