Bryn-yr-Hen-Bobl - Chambered Cairn - 2
A view of the forecourt opening to the small (2mx1m) central chamber in the cairn
The low broken stone would have been a tall blocking stone ,with two holes ,
to allow grave goods to be passed into the chamber.
The tomb was excavated in 1929 and contained the remains of at least twenty individuals.
The Cairn of Limestone rocks is now covered by grass.
In a quiet part of the Estate - no apparent problem in seeing the monument.
