Portmeirion is a popular Tourist attraction in North Wales
Designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis 1925 / 1976 as an imitation of a rustic Italian village.
Most of the buildings at Portmeirion are about two-thirds the size of the buildings
they were modelled on , to save time and materials , but made to look full-size.
