Porth y Pistyll - 1
A view ,from near the rocky outcrop Craig Cwlwm, over Porth y Pistyll to the headland Pen y Cil.
The remains of an old quarry , producing setts (cobblestones) , and dock can be seen.
The quarry was worked in 1900/10 and again in the late 1930s.
The cove was used to export granite from the small Trwym Dwmi Quarry on the cliff top.
In 1904/1905 a timber and stone jetty was erected equipped with a steam crane for loading onto ships.
