Penrhyn Castle
The Castle in the neo-Norman style, inspired by medieval fortresses.
It was rebuilt between 1819 and 1835 for George Dawkins Pennant .
It incorporates two earlier buildings - a medieval house and an 18th-century Gothic mansion.
The former home of the Pennant family who dominated the Welsh slate industry for almost 150 years
