The Talacre Lighthouse, the Point of Ayr Lighthouse , Y Parlur Du , was built to
guide shipping into the treacherous Dee Estuary.
The lighthouse displayed two lights - one shining out on Liverpool Bay towards Llandudno
and another shining up the Dee estuary.
