The elegant bridge (1996) is suspended from a single vertical tower.
The bridge carries the A548 and links Flint and Connah's Quay to the opposite shore
at the southern end of the Wirral (a Peninsula just to the west of Liverpool ).
The Connah's Quay Powerstation and Transmission Pylons spoil the views from all angles.
The Bridge does not allow pedestrians and this negates the best photo of the bridge from the road deck .
