The path along the beach joins the road at the Marina , then around the harbour returning to the Coast
on Embankment Rd (Cob y Dref) passing the Lon Cob Bach Nature Reserve ,
bounded by another Cob - Cob Bach (the little Cob).
The Pwllheli end of the beach is known as Glan-y-Don beach , after one of the two major
embankments (Cobs) built 1813/15 to improve the Harbour and prevent flooding in the town
In the distance on the right of the photo is a small hill - Pen Garn
