Llanbedrog Beach

The mile long beach ,mostly managed by the National Trust, is the most sheltered in North Wales.
Looking along the northern end of Llanbedrog Beach to the headland Carreg y Defaid.
Carreg-y-Defaid was the site of the local gallows in the17th century. A concrete arrow is just round
the headland (no access) indicating the flight path from RAF Penrhos to a firing range near Abersoch.
Pwllheli in the distance with the mountains of Snowdonia / Eryri as a backdrop.
The 92 colourfull Beach Huts are stored in the National Trust Car park in the winter.
