Pilot Jetty at Trwyn Eilian
Looking to the South from Trwyn Eilian to the Mersey Docks & Harbour Board's Pilot boats Jetty .
No longer used - The Landing stage was damaged by fire due to vandals.
The entrance to the Port of Liverpool was very dangerous without a skilful Pilot.
The Pilot House was the white building on the right of the photo.
Liverpool Pilot Service now operates from nearby Amlwch Harbour.
