Devils Kitchen - Twll Du
The Devil’s Kitchen is the cleft in Clogwyn y Geifr (Cliff of the Goat) , the headwall of Cwm Idwal.
Twll Du (‘black hole’) is known as the Devil’s Kitchen because , in folklore ,
when steam can be seen rising from the chimney, the Devil was cooking.
