Areas of pasture and thorn bushes mixed with saltmarsh in the foreground with Four Mile Bridge in the distance.
The rather unimpressive low stone Bridge was built after the reclamation of Cleifiog sands in 1776.
The bridge is a long embankment of rubble masonry with an arched culvert in the centre.
Four Mile Bridge was the only road link to Holy Island before the construction of the Stanley Embankment
