Cefn Tal llyn - Eigiau to the right (738m) , Pen Llithrig y Wrach (790m) in the distance.
Llyn Eigiau is a lake of 120 acres on the eastern side of the Carneddau range of mountains.

This view from the FP is of Llyn Dulyn with Craig y Dulyn rising steeply from the 33 acre lake.SH 7117 6601 . A Bothy is just in the
lower right corner of the photo (no need to book to use a Bothy!). A valve house with a rusty roof is the other building near the lake.

Park as for the 10 mile 'Cwm Eigiau Horseshoe' - one of Wales Classic Walks , which takes in the highest summit of the
Carneddau Mountains - Carnedd Llywelyn (1064m) - only 20m lower than Snowdon.
Note: to reach the Parking initially involves taking a very steep winding single track lane , then a level 2 mile single track gated lane .
The lane is south of the signed Llanbedr lane in Tal-y-bont on the B5106 , South of Conwy
