Crib-y-rhiw / Diffwys Syncline
From Y Llethr a view to the South along the ridge of Crib-y-rhiw with the distinctive Syncline of Diffwys in the distance.
Y Llethr is the highest mountain in the Rhinogydd range , the summit consists of a flat grassy top marked only by a small cairn.
The Syncline is an impressive Fold - an exposure of the Caerdion Syncline which plunges southward with the younger strata towards the Mawddach estuary.
