The ornate red brick Lower station, dated 1896, of the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway. The top floor is now a holiday let.
The funicular railway climbs 130 metres on a 1 in 2 gradient, and is the second longest funicular Railway in Britain.
The railway’s opening in 1896 stimulated the development of Constitution Hill as a leisure area.
