A typical Cardiganshire crog loft cottage dating from c.1800 , one of the last surviving in West Wales. It is a 2 roomed cottage ,
with the original cobbled floor, a thatched roof supported by timbers and straw rope, now protected by corrugated sheeting.
The living room contains furniture sourced to match its period , the downstairs bedroom contains an 18th-century wainscot or box-bed,
the Upstairs bedroom is accessed via a ladder coming from the living room, with a primitive bed fitted tightly under the eaves.
The ruins of a Tudor Hall or Neuadd from around C16, the earliest known example of a chimneyed house in Ceredigion are in front of the cottage.
On Heol Non lane (off the main road ), owned by Ceredigion County Council museum and is only open to the public at specific times.
