Rhaeadr Ddu Waterfalls - Afon Gamlan
Rhaeadr Ddu (Black Falls) are 2 impressive Waterfalls that cascade over 60ft (18m) on the Afon Gamlan .
They are spectacular after heavy rain and just a short walk from the car park off the A470 at Ganllwyd.
The well signed route starts from the corrugated metal Village Hall (formerly mission hall) building in Ganllwyd, and passes through the
Coed Ganllwyd Nature Reserve - a Celtic ‘rainforest’, a rare Atlantic Oak Woodland with important Mosses and Liverworts.
