Ffon y Cawr Standing Stone

A slender Monolith c.1.8m high by 0.3m by 0.25m, known as Ffon-y-Cawr (the Giant's Stick) or Picell Arthur (Arthur's Spear) .
It stands a short distance from the Maen-y-Bardd burial chamber with which it is linked in legend -
the stone is reputed to have been thrown by a giant at his dog which was lazing in the chamber!
