Alexandra Quarry Pinnacles / Pool
Alexandra Quarry is located on the east side of Moel Tryfan
A view over the middle pool of the three pools in the old Quarry to the impressive rock Pinnacles.
The Moel Tryfan Quarry operated just to the north of Alexandra Quarry but the Quarries combined in the 1930's.
The quarry is active again, selling slate and aggregate.
P at 'Y Fron' ( east of the A487 / Penygroes ) and take a path on the slate trail heading North East.
Then a track towards the Quarry and Moel Tryfan .The track runs by side of the Quarry Pit.
