A view over the Stone Circle with Cadair Idris in the distance. The monument is just outside of the Snowdonia National Park.
The Stone Circle of 41 or 43 kerb stones, from a circle of 10m in diameter, with a possibly original gap facing south-east and a central hollow
possibly representing a robbed out cist, or similar structure , and probably dates to the Bronze Age (c. 2300 - 800 BC).
Within the area are further ritual and funerary structures - a round cairn and a round barrow, and at least three cist cairns.
