A view of Craig Maesglase , a rugged escarpement at the head of a cwm , from a FP (at 334m) along the lower slope of Foel Dinas (478m).
After heavy rain a Waterfall with a drop a fall of 160m (a single fall of 85m) , can be seen. The Nant Maesglase flows through the valley.
----------------------------
For a direct route take the FP from the second layby north of Dinas Mawddwy , not a pleasant path ,
as it progresses steeply through a dense Pine Forest , an ascent of about 180m.
